Feedback of Broccoli Salad with Red Grapes, Bacon, and Sunflower Seeds Recipes
really good! I omitted the onion because some of my family doesnt care for it and used pecans instead of sunflower seeds. Still amazing flavors. Exactly what I was looking for.
This is a delicious salad! My friends love it and want me to bring it often as a side dish. I like to make the broccoli bites small, the size of the cut grapes. That way everything is in every bite. I don’t use all of the dressing because I prefer light dressing but that’s me.
I made this salad before, but not recently. I looked it up here because I couldn't remember how to make the dressing. I was surprised that this version uses onions. I never put those in. Except for that, it's the same recipe that I've made. I used crushed smoked almonds once when I had no sunflower seeds, and it had a good flavor.
Delicious salad! I used raisins instead of grapes because it's what I had, but next time I will be sure to use grapes, I'm sure it will be just as good. I also added some shredded cheddar cheese. Absolutely enjoyed this salad! Thanks for the recipe!
This is a wonderful recipe, instead of apple cider vinegar I use balsamic vinegar it is wonderful.
Delicious! I used pumpkin seeds instead of sunflower.
Will make again.Finely, finely diced red onion, so it was the size of the sunflower seeds.Good flavor. Maybe could reduce amount of mayo because makes a lot of dressing, but vinegar and sugar were sufficient.Broccoli got a bit soft/chewy, lost some of its crunch on subsequent days. Not sure how to fix.
Fantastic flavour combination, great crunch!
I first tasted a similar salad when I traveled to North Carolina. My friend made the salad with broccoli and grapes. We poured the sauce over it. This version is now one of my go to's at my house. I did change 2 items. I omitted the onion and sunflower seeds. I added sliced almonds instead and it's delicious. I adjust the ACV to taste. Some like it heavier and some very light. Love the bacon and almonds. Just the right crunch
