It was great. I threw in some sautéed garlic and that really brought it together
This was amazing but I decided to use flora butterly butter, mature cheddar cheese and ground pepper and garlic. This dish was really nice but also quick and easy to make. My sister who Is very picky is eating it and that isn't what normally happens. Thank you allrecipes :)
Been making this for years, but never get the propotions right on butter to pasta. Also I never stirred the cheese into it, just put it on top. This recipe is great, thanks for letting me now make it perfectly every time!
I add lots of ROASTED FRESH MASHED garlic- fresh chopped vasil and add a touch of red crushed pepper flakes Plus - I make my own noodles 100% semolina flour with a little Ap flour mixed in..
This recipe is simple and tasty, but I prefer to lightly brown my butter in a small amount of olive oil before adding it to the pasta. Depending on my mood, I might add some chopped garlic to the butter as it cooks.
I used spaghetti, broken in half. So who hasn't eaten pasta with butter before, sounds so basic that no one would need a recipe BUT what I did was browned the butter first, then added it to the bowl of spaghetti, followed with salt and pepper. I just sprinkled a bit of parm as needed, to my plate to taste as I was eating. The 'browned' butter is really what made this amazingly good. The flavor of the butter and those brown bits were sooooo good.
This is pretty much the recipe that I have used since my daughter was young. Now I care for her twin 8 year old boys--they love it and want it often.
