This was perfect 👌🍻cheers from South Africa 🇿🇦 the key for us was adding a lot of ice and a splash of tonic to fill the glass
I skip sour mix and add orange juice
My favourite of all the cocktails and this recipe is spot on. I love how you give nutrition facts at the end; a couple of these and you won't care what planet you're on never mind your diet!
That is the classic recipe, but I usually replace sweet sour mix with 1tablespoon lemon juice mixed well with 1 tablespoon honey with about an ounce of water. Then add liquors - shake with ice, then pour over ice in a glass. Top with Coca-Cola and lemon
I love it and so did my guest. It is now my go to. I like mine a lil sweet so I adds simple syrup to it.
Anybody who's claiming that this is "the real recipe", and uses sweet-and-sour mix it's just wrong. Use 3/4 ounce lemon juice, 1/4 ounce simple syrup, and only enough cola to color the beverage, which is almost always going to be less than an ounce
Have definitely had better LIITs. This just tasted like a glass full of high-test booze. Not sure what to add or subtract to make it better.
Best long island ice tea I’ve had anywhere, ever! Perfect!
