Instructions: Lemon Drop Shots Recipes

Step 2: Place remaining 2 teaspoons sugar on a small plate; dip lemon wedges in sugar. Suck on a sugared lemon after drinking the shot.
Made with Absolut vodka. Nice little drink but I like to double it for a bigger drink.
Yummy good and quick, too.
I took equal parts of both fresh squeezed &/or store bought lemon juice & Absolute Citron, mixed it in a metal jigger with ice & the appropriate amount of sugar (depending on how much lemon juice I use). Then shake jigger for several seconds & pour it right into rocks glasses (that already have sugared rims & filled with ice).Came out excellent!! The key is to keep shaking your mixture & quickly pour BEFORE all undesolved sugar settles to the bottom of your jigger. You want it to pour along with the rest of your mixture. Getting the grainy texture of undesolved sugar in your drink & in your mouth is part of what makes these larger shots so delicious! You don’t need her. Mine are perfect without! Serve with a small swizzle stick aka cocktail straw. But if I had a choice I’d go for the lemon drop martini. The triple sec or simple syrup is easier to use a sugared lemon wedge as a chaser.
Love this drink. My new shot.
Subbed in simple syrup for the sugar to deal with the dilution problem with the sugar turned out really good
my tree was loaded with lemons..so i made lemon drop shots...yes the sugar fell to bottom but i made more and didn't have to add more sugar..win...win...
I used dextrose (corn sugar) added directly to my fresh squeezed meyer lemon juice. It's like powder sugar and dissolves quickly. I also substituted erythritol for the sugar to dip my meyer lemon slices into. Great shots!!
We liked it but I don't know if it was worth squeezing the lemons for this. I may make them again using simple syrup not sugar. The sugar sinks and sits at the bottom of the glass.
Used simple syrup instead of sugar but definitely great!
