Indulge in the simplicity of Easy Apple Pie, a classic dessert that embodies the warmth and flavors of fall. Begin by selecting a mix of apples, such as Granny Smith and Honeycrisp, to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.
Peel, core, and slice the apples, tossing them in a mixture of sugar, cinnamon, and a hint of nutmeg. Let this apple filling sit, allowing the flavors to meld and intensify.
Prepare a pie crust, either homemade or store-bought, and line a pie dish. Arrange the seasoned apple slices in the crust, creating a beautiful layer that promises a symphony of flavors in every slice.
Top the apples with another layer of pie crust, creating a traditional double-crust pie. Seal the edges and cut vents to allow steam to escape, ensuring a perfectly golden and flaky crust.
Bake until the Easy Apple Pie is golden brown and bubbling, filling your kitchen with the irresistible aroma of baked apples and spices. Allow the pie to cool before slicing into it, revealing the tender apples encased in a buttery, golden crust.
Serve slices on their own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, allowing the warmth of the pie to contrast with the cool creaminess of the ice cream. This Easy Apple Pie is perfect for casual gatherings, holiday celebrations, or as a comforting treat on any occasion.
Celebrate the timeless joy of homemade baking with this easy-to-make, deliciously satisfying Easy Apple Pie, bringing the essence of autumn to your table in every delightful bite.

I followed the recipe exactly and even baked an extra 10 mins because it didn’t look quite cooked. When we finally cut into it, the bottom crust was completely uncooked…like raw dough. Any suggestions on what happened? I usually make pie completely from scratch but I had two frozen pie crusts in the freezer that I needed to use. Maybe it was the frozen crust specifically?
Worked exactly as the recipe said and it came our great!
No changes were made other than i use mcintosh apples because they are the best apples to make for this apple pie and the family and myself love this apple pie! make it a lot but we put vanilla ice cream on it and makes it better !!!!
It's a good recipe just a little runny so I put 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and thickened it up was great
First time I made this recipe I followed it exactly. It was fantastic. Second time I use two teaspoons of cinnamon two tablespoons of butter 3/4 cup of brown sugar and one teaspoon of nutmeg. Just a little bit more spice to it and sweetness.
The filling had no thickener but I decided to trust the process and ended up with a tray of apple soup. A waste of my pie shells.
I thought it was odd there was no flour, but went a head and made as is, disappointed, very runny which also made the bottom crust soggy, taste was good.
This recipe was easy and delicious, it has definitely turned into a family favorite!!
Have made this recipe several times. It turns out every time!
