Excellent recipe! I've used it many times.
used 1/2 a red/purple (?) cabbage and 1/2 green, not spicy enough - still in fridge, I'll recheck tomorrow a.m., how to spice it up??
very good
This is nowhere near KFC coleslaw! It was just ok but not what I expected. I was actually pretty disappointed.
This coleslaw did not taste at all like KFC’s, but it was ok. I found it to be too sweet.
We loved the coleslaw. My family was so hungry that we didn't wait 2 hours to eat the coleslaw. It was still great! I wouldn't change a thing! The slaw doesn't taste quite like KFC; however, the slaw was still great.
I’ve made a lot of coleslaw, and after mixing up the dressing, I knew it was too runny. I added more mayo, whisked again, and that took care of the dressing consistency. I didn’t use the packaged slaw, just chopped up some cabbage and shredded some carrot. This turned out OK and, honestly, I can’t really say whether or not it tastes like KFC coleslaw, but I know it was too sweet for our taste. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
It was okay, but not KFC. I am almost sure KFC has horseradish in their dressing. Not much, just a bit to give it its unique flavor. I can't imagine KFC putting wine in their dressing. Too expensive!
