Elevate your summer dining with our Herb Watermelon Feta Salad, a harmonious blend of sweet watermelon, creamy feta cheese, and aromatic herbs. Begin by cubing fresh watermelon into bite-sized pieces, showcasing its juicy sweetness.
Crumble tangy feta cheese over the watermelon, creating a delightful contrast that adds a savory richness to the salad. The combination of sweet and savory flavors becomes the foundation for this refreshing dish.
Introduce a medley of fresh herbs, such as mint, basil, and parsley, finely chopped to infuse the salad with vibrant aromas and herbaceous notes. The herbs add a layer of complexity, enhancing the overall freshness of the salad.
Include thinly sliced red onions for a mild and crisp bite, balancing the sweetness of the watermelon and complementing the herb-infused feta.
Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the salad, creating a simple yet flavorful dressing that ties all the ingredients together. The dressing adds a touch of acidity and richness, enhancing the overall taste experience.
For a textural element, sprinkle toasted pine nuts or slivered almonds over the salad. These nuts contribute a satisfying crunch, elevating the salad’s overall texture.
Gently toss the ingredients to ensure an even coating of the dressing and the distribution of herbs. The result is a visually stunning Herb Watermelon Feta Salad that embodies the essence of summer.

I've made this salad quite a few times. It's a hit every single time.
This recipe is a crowd winner and it is so easy! I can't tell you how many times I've had to copy the link and send to friends.
I liked it-but did not love it.
It was terrible tasting after I added the basil
Cut back the herbs to half and skipped the olive oil, perfect!
Made it because had way too much watermelon. My boyfriend and I loved t! Refreshing and healthy too. Made as written except didn't have cilantro...it doesn't need it. I will definitely make this over and over again.
Added baby spinach (because I didn't have basil leaves and we don't like cilantro). I also added strawberries and grapes. I would wait until just before serving to add the dressing (that I added a few strawberries to) which was the star of the show. (The greens will wilt otherwise)
I did not follow your recipe exactly but it came out great! Thanks for the inspiration
I was skeptical as to how it would taste. I’ve heard many reviews and seen several variations of this salad. A quick taste test before I packed it to go and I was seriously amazed. This salad is dynamite! Just made it for my mother in-laws birthday cookout. I will be making this again. So easy and was able to use fresh herbs from my garden
