The family loved it. I did pat the taco seasoning on the chicken breasts, let them sit in the fridge, then nestled them in the salsa (as opposed to pouring the salsa over the chicken breasts in the pan) as suggested in the comments. Got spontaneous comments about how good it was. It's now officially in the rotation.
I enjoy how simple and quickly it is to make. It's very tasty. I can make each piece to cater to their taste without any effort by using their level of heat in salsa and cheese. I serve it with green beans and yellow rice.
Very good flavor and easy to prepare
Excellent, easy recipe. I made it just as written. I used 2# of boneless chicken breast halves. Served with Spanish rice. Thanks for an easy weeknight meal!
thank you it seems delicious
This was easy, quick and delicious
Made this delicious chicken tonight it was awesome. My family loved it. Thank you so much.
Super easy and tastes great...AS WRITTEN! I do not like pieces/chunks of tomatoes and stuff in salsa, so I just use an immersion blender to get it to the consistency I like.
