Great recipe for classic potato salad. I used small red potatoes (which are less starchy than other potatoes) as called for in the recipe and they added a nice flavor and bite to the salad. If your potatoes are still warm, they will absorb some of the dressing as they cool in the fridge making this salad flavorful and less soupy. My husband appreciated no sugar in the salad, as he doesn't like his potato salad with any hint of sweetness. The cooking time will depend on how small you cut your potatoes, so it will vary. Also, depending on the pickles used, you will get varying flavors too. I used my favorite Grillo's classic dills in this recipe and they were perfect. I halved the recipes as it makes a lot and it was fine. I also added a little smoked paprika-delish! I will be making this one again.

I made this for Memorial Day picnic and am making it again for 4th of July picnic. My family and friends loved this recipe. I used garlic dill pickles and added some fresh dill and chives.
Easy recipe. Omitted the vinegar on personal preference. Put in the pickle juice but not the pickles! Was very good!

Pretty much what I grew up on. Add more eggs or egg yolks. The eggier the better. I use a dozen eggs when I make potatoes salad. I also dont like raw crunchy celery in my food. I use celery seeds Instead . I set out celery stalks, baby carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and dip as an additional appetizer for those that want to snack.
