Instructions: Honey Glazed Chicken Recipes
Step 1: Gather all ingredients.
Step 2: Whisk honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl; set aside.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir chicken in hot oil until lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Pour honey mixture into the skillet; continue to cook and stir until chicken is no longer pink in the center and sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes more.
Delish! Zero changes to the recipe. Runny sauce? Nope! Turned the heat a little higher towards the end and let the chicken drown in the thickening sauce. Basted along the way. Really good.
Dish was very bland...I need to experiment with the current recipe as a base to make the sauce more robust and flavorful.
I thought this turned out well, but I did make some adjustments after reading some reviews. I felt the sauce was going to be lacking so I added some sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. I also reduced the amount of soy sauce and used light soy sauce. I double the recipe so inised 3 tbsp of light sauce instead of four. I also increased the red pepper flake since I like spice. After I browned the chicken and added the sauce, I added a corn starch slurry to help thicken it up. Sauce turned out flavorful, balanced, and nice consists.
Very easy and my family loved it! The sauce was a little runny but just add a little corn starch and it turns out perfectly!
Love it so much that I made it twice!
I made this recipe and used only half of the soy sauce. I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic before adding the sauce. I served it over brown rice. It was super easy and delicious!
Great easy and quick recipe!
Super quick and easy. Made the recipe with no changes.
